Assessment / Discovery
A time-boxed review of your current environment, risks and options, ending in a written recommendation you can act on with or without us. Ideal when you need clarity before committing budget.
Engagements are structured around discovery, architecture, implementation, validation and practical enablement so teams can operate what is delivered.
Each type has clear ownership at every stage; the fit depends on how defined your goal already is and how much support you need after launch.
A time-boxed review of your current environment, risks and options, ending in a written recommendation you can act on with or without us. Ideal when you need clarity before committing budget.
A defined project (a landing zone, a migration wave, an AI agent platform) with agreed milestones, deliverables and structured handover. Ideal when the end goal is clear.
We run, monitor and continuously harden your platform post-launch under an agreed operational scope, with defined SLAs and an escalation path. Ideal when internal teams are stretched.
A multi-workstream, long-term collaboration. Ideal when the technical modernization roadmap spans multiple quarters and you need a single, accountable engineering partner.
| Dimension | Assessment / Discovery | Fixed-Scope Build | Managed Support | Transformation Partnership |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Best when | Facing uncertain legacy constraints or needing budget justification. | Specific architecture or migration scope is agreed and prioritized. | System is live but requires dedicated engineering care and SLAs. | Executing strategic modernization across cloud, AI, and security. |
| Typical duration | 2 to 4 weeks (time-boxed) | 6 to 16 weeks per wave | 12-month renewable contract | 6 to 18+ months program |
| What you get | Current-state audit, risk heat map, architecture recommendation & roadmap. | Production IaC repo, automated pipelines, validated platform & runbooks. | Proactive monitoring, P1–P4 response SLAs, regular patching & monthly reporting. | Dedicated engineering pods, architecture board seat, shared governance & capability transfer. |
| Commercial model | Fixed fee | Fixed price / milestone | Monthly retainer / SLA | Strategic program |
| Your team's involvement | Interviews, system access, and findings review (3–5 hrs/wk). | Named product owner, bi-weekly reviews, acceptance testing sign-off. | Designated incident escalation contacts and monthly service reviews. | Steering committee, co-delivery engineering counterparts. |
Whether the engagement is a targeted four-week assessment or a multi-year partnership, the work moves through the same five disciplined stages. Progress requires passing the formal gate at each step.
Map reality, identify constraints, and establish technical baselines.
Enterprise Architect, InfoSec lead, and system owners for architecture workshops and configuration reviews (3–5 hours per week).
Design target state, controls, automation pipelines, and fail-safes.
Lead Infrastructure Architect and CISO review board for design reviews, threat modeling, and gate approval (4–6 hours per week).
Build infrastructure as code, automated pipelines, and core platforms.
DevOps counterparts for code reviews, sprint demonstrations, and repository pairing (4–8 hours per week co-delivery).
Rehearse failure, verify security baselines, and test disaster recovery.
Security team for audit sign-off; operations team for disaster recovery drills and cutover rehearsal (6–8 hours during testing window).
enable internal teams, deliver living runbooks, and provide hypercare.
Operations and Site Reliability Engineering teams during handover workshops; system owner for final project acceptance sign-off.
Regardless of project duration or commercial type, these six technical disciplines are built into every contract we deliver.
Every major choice is captured in an ADR with rationale, alternatives considered, and trade-offs.
Zero manual clicks in production. Environments are version-controlled, auditable, and automated.
Rigorous baseline and vulnerability checks aligned with NIST CSF 2.0 / CIS Controls controls before production traffic.
Living runbooks, troubleshooting flows, and architecture diagrams built for engineers, not shelfware.
A named, accountable engineer on our team for every component and workstream from kickoff to sign-off.
Hands-on pairing sessions so your engineers understand, operate, and extend what is delivered.
Predictability requires discipline. Every project operates under a clear communication rhythm and a defined responsibility model.
A concise written update covering completed milestones, current sprint focus, blockers, and decisions required.
A 30-minute sync with leadership and executive sponsors on timeline, budget alignment, and strategic choices.
A live, auditable register of architectural choices, open risks, mitigations, and ownership visible to both teams.
A single designated engineering lead who owns delivery quality, escalation paths, and technical coherence.
Defines who leads, who approves, and who owns each aspect of delivery.
| Workstream / Deliverable | iNET SYSTEMS | Client Team | Governance Principle |
|---|---|---|---|
| Business Goals & Problem Definition | Consulted | Accountable | Client defines organizational priorities, success criteria, and constraints. |
| Architecture & Technical Design | Responsible | Accountable (Sign-off) | iNET authors design and ADRs; Client reviews and signs off Gate 2. |
| Infrastructure as Code & Automation Build | Responsible | Shared / Co-review | iNET writes IaC and pipelines; Client engineers review pull requests. |
| Security, Compliance & DR Testing | Responsible | Accountable | Joint DR rehearsals; Client CISO / InfoSec signs off Gate 4. |
| Production Change Approval | Consulted | Accountable | Client retains 100% final authority over production environment changes. |
| Runtime Code, Repo & Asset Ownership | None (Zero lock-in) | 100% Client Owned | Client owns all code, pipelines, and artifacts from the first commit. |
For clients opting for managed support after rollout, we operate with transparent severity levels and defined technical response paths.
| Priority | Severity Definition | Target Initial Response | Escalation & Cadence | Coverage Window |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| P1 — Critical | Critical production service down or severe security breach affecting business continuity. | ≤ 30 minutes | Continuous effort until restored; executive updates every 30m. | 24×7×365 |
| P2 — Major | Significant degradation of core features with no operational workaround. | ≤ 2 hours | Assigned engineering investigation; updates every 2 hours. | 24×7 or Extended Business |
| P3 — Moderate | Impairment of non-critical system components with workaround available. | ≤ 6 business hours | Remediation scheduled in current sprint or planned patch window. | Business hours (Sun–Thu) |
| P4 — Minor | Minor query, documentation clarification, or low-priority enhancement. | ≤ 1 business day | Standard backlog prioritization. | Business hours (Sun–Thu) |
Key considerations addressed upfront to streamline security, procurement, and architecture reviews.
We use a transparent Change Request (CR) mechanism. When new requirements arise, we produce a documented impact assessment covering timeline, architecture trade-offs, and commercial effects. No out-of-scope work proceeds without formal written sign-off from both parties.
Yes, and we strongly encourage it. Paired programming, shared Git pull requests, and co-delivery drastically accelerate knowledge transfer. By the time the platform reaches Gate 5, your internal team already understands the codebase intimately.
The client owns 100% of all intellectual property, repositories, scripts, pipelines, and documentation from day one. We never introduce proprietary runtime frameworks or lock-in components. You are completely free to operate the platform with any internal or external team.
We adhere strictly to the principle of least privilege. Access is granted via temporary, audited, multi-factor authenticated (MFA) federated roles tied to your identity provider. We never require or store persistent root or super-admin credentials, and all actions remain fully logged in your audit trails.
Handover is not a post-project event; it begins in Phase 3. We deliver living runbooks, conduct recorded architecture walkthroughs, perform live disaster recovery drills with your engineers, and provide a dedicated hypercare stabilization period after production go-live.
Tell us about your upcoming initiative, constraints, and timeline. We will outline the right engagement model and technical path.
