Information we collect
We may collect details you submit through contact forms, including name, work email, company, selected service and message. We may also collect basic technical information through essential cookies, server logs and analytics if enabled.
How we use information
We use submitted information to respond to inquiries, discuss services, improve the website, protect the site from abuse and maintain business records.
Categories of personal information
In the past 12 months we have collected the following categories of personal information, as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (CCPA/CPRA):
- Identifiers and professional information: name, work email, company and role, when you submit a contact form or email us.
- Internet or network activity: pages visited, referring site, browser and device type, collected through server logs and, only if you accept, optional analytics.
- Inferences: none. We do not build profiles about website visitors.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 for California residents).
Third parties
Our hosting provider, email delivery services, spam protection and this website's own first-party analytics may process limited data for website operations. Optional analytics only runs after you accept it in the cookie banner.
Retention
Contact submissions are retained for 24 months from the date they were sent, then automatically deleted, unless a longer period is required for an active engagement or a legal obligation. Detailed analytics records, including IP address, are kept for 180 days and then automatically deleted; the analytics session cookie itself expires after 30 days. Questions sent to the on-site AI assistant are not stored; see "AI assistant" below.
Where data is processed
iNET SYSTEMS is based in New Hyde Park, New York, and website data is processed in the United States. Some service providers that support this website (such as hosting, email delivery and spam protection) may process limited data in other locations under their own contractual and security commitments. If you visit from outside the United States, you understand your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
AI assistant
This website includes an on-site AI assistant ("Ask iNET SYSTEMS") that answers questions by searching this website's own published content. It does not call an external AI provider or hosted language model, does not send your question anywhere off this website, and does not store the questions you ask: each message is matched against site content and discarded once a reply is returned. Please avoid submitting confidential or sensitive information in the chat, since it is intended for general questions about our services rather than as a secure support channel.
Responsible AI principles
Beyond the on-site assistant above, iNET SYSTEMS also designs and delivers Agentic AI and enterprise AI systems for clients. Across that work, we apply a consistent set of principles:
- Human oversight: AI systems that take consequential actions are designed with a human able to review, approve or override them, not left to act fully autonomously by default.
- Access control: an AI agent is scoped to the minimum systems and data it needs for its task, following the same least-privilege principle applied to human access.
- Logging and auditability: actions taken by an AI agent are logged so they can be reviewed and traced back to a cause, the same as any other production system.
- Testing before production: AI-driven workflows are evaluated against realistic scenarios, including failure cases, before they are trusted with real data or real actions.
- Customer-data handling: client data used to configure or ground an AI system stays within the boundaries agreed with that client and is not used to train shared or third-party models without explicit agreement.
The specific controls applied on a given engagement are scoped to that engagement's own requirements and agreed with the client directly.
Your privacy rights
Depending on the state you live in (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the following rights, which you can exercise by emailing info@inetsystems.ai:
- Right to know / access: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
- Right to correct: request that inaccurate personal information be corrected.
- Right to delete: request that your personal information be deleted, subject to legal exceptions.
- Right to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising: we do not sell or share personal information, but you may still submit this request.
- Right to withdraw consent: withdraw consent for optional analytics cookies at any time through Cookie Settings in the footer.
- Right to non-discrimination: we will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
We will verify your request using the email address you contacted us from and respond within 45 days, as required by the CCPA/CPRA. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response; residents of some states may also contact their state attorney general.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Optional analytics stays off unless you accept it in the cookie banner. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out request: optional analytics is switched off automatically and the banner is not shown. We do not sell or share personal information in any case.
Security and breach notification
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and any required regulators as required by applicable state breach-notification laws.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest revision.
